A built-in sauna is one of those custom home features that looks incredible once it's done - but getting it to actually work takes more than good woodwork. The electrical side has to be done right. A sauna heater draws serious power, and the wiring needs to be clean, properly sized, and safely run to handle that load without any issues.

That's exactly what we handled here. This cedar sauna came together beautifully on the carpentry side, and our job was making sure the electrical matched that same level of quality. The heater, the lighting - everything needed dedicated, reliable power to function the way it was designed to.

Custom spaces like this are fun to work on because every one is a little different. The layout, the heater placement, the lighting needs - it all factors into how we plan the wiring. We don't just run power and call it a day. We think through how the space will actually be used and make sure the work supports that long-term.

The end result is a sauna that's ready to use right away, without any second-guessing about whether the electrical is up to the task. Clean work behind the scenes means everything up front just works. That's kind of the whole point.

A lot of homeowners put serious thought and money into custom builds like this, and the electrical often gets treated as an afterthought. We think it deserves the same attention as everything else. Whether it's a sauna, a workshop, a home gym, or any other custom space, getting the power right is what makes the whole thing come together.
