Having an electrical panel inside a bathroom is a serious code violation - and a real safety hazard. Water and electricity don't mix, and yet it's more common than you'd think to find panels tucked into bathrooms in older homes. That's exactly what we were dealing with on this job.

The old panel was a mess. Overcrowded wiring, no organization, and sitting in one of the worst possible spots in the house. We pulled it out completely and relocated everything to a proper, accessible location in the hallway - a spot that meets code, gives easy access for future work, and keeps the home a whole lot safer.

The new panel is clean, properly labeled circuit by circuit, and built to handle what a modern home actually demands. Every circuit got identified - garage, dryer, refrigerator, A/C, range, washer, you name it. No guessing, no mystery breakers. Just a solid, organized setup that any electrician can work with down the road.

This job also gave us a great opportunity to bring along the next generation. Having a younger tech on site, learning the process hands-on, is something we take seriously. That kind of training is how you keep quality consistent and pass down the right way to do things.

If your home still has an outdated panel - or you've got one in a spot that raises eyebrows - it's worth getting it looked at. These aren't just cosmetic issues. They're real risks that a proper panel upgrade can eliminate.
